Source, Cry Engine 3 or Unreal Engine 3 hmmm

Intentionally I decided I was going to use Unreal Engine 3 but firstly I wanted to test all the engines to get a feel of how they was and which one I would be ultimately end up using.

At first I used Source which was quiet good I learnt how to place objects and building and also creating a skybox which is the sky around the level I like it and It was good but I found It was a bit out date by other engines like Cry Engine 3 or Unreal Engine 3 I decide to see how the other two engines would compare against the source engine and make my judgement.
Source (Valve)

Afterwards I tried out Unreal Engine 3 I like It but It wasn’t preferable to my taste internally I thought I’ll be using this engine and It turned out I didn't favour in what I want just thing like how the "outside" and "inside" maps has to be specified.
Unreal Development Kit (UDK)

In the end I tried the Cry Engine 3 after creating the landmass it was a simple as clicking on "Solid" in the menu of tools and dragging out a wall or a block. From the simple knowledge you could make a very simple square map in a matter of minutes. I really liked the Cry Engine 3 and It really played to my taste of how the tool where set and thing were simple as turning the sky night or day.

After this I came to my decision I would be using Cry Engine 3 to create my map.
